Stage Fright

The band was having fun, we felt we had a good sound, and we pretty
much played as often as we liked.
This, however, seemed like validation that we were a good
band. We had held our own, against both local, and
state bands,
many of which were very impressive. We enjoyed the prizes,
the attention, and the satisfaction of a job well done. On
November25,
we competed in Lexington, Kentucky, at the regional level.
The talent level was decidedly higher here, and we did not make
the cut.
And the band played on...
